I fell in love with exercise when I used it to help me get through the stress of study. I started with home workouts from an app, began running with the dog, soon joined a gym, and started working with a personal trainer.
I loved it so much that I completed my own studies, hoping to work with others to change their life. I wanted everyone to know how good it felt to move, fuel, and celebrate their body.
But Oh. My. God. Why did they make it so difficult to work out how to workout?!
No wonder the world of health and fitness seems so confusing. With new fitness trends popping up weekly, not to mention the never ending confusion about calories….it just makes it seem all too hard and intimidating to even want to start! It’s time we removed these road blocks to creating a healthier, balanced lifestyle.
I want to take it right back, to good food, good movement, and happy living. We all have a phone in our pocket and an app that helps you step by step with tailored programs and habit reminders means that can be achieved at home, or in the gym. Before I started GracePT, it seemed like if you couldn’t get to a gym, let alone afford personal training, only home training programs were available to you, you know, the ones that promise big results – but only if you make big sacrifices
I’m changing that. I’m not here to flatten you with hour long fitness sessions 7 days a week, or stop you from going on dinner dates because it’s too hard to choose from the menu. I’m not making you sell a liver for a personalised training program, and I sure as hell am not going to let you get bored with the same workout over and over again, like everyone else in those cookie cutter home workout programs. I promise you practicality and balance to suit YOUR needs.
